Riffsandskulls has always understood that “bad” art can be good if the soul is right. The sprites here are a massive upgrade from the first tournament. Gone are the rigid MS Paint cutouts; in their place are fluid, almost Skullgirls -lite animations, albeit filtered through a blender of early 2000s Flash cartoons. The backgrounds are chaotic: a collapsing strip club, a volcano shaped like a famous v-tuber, and a parking lot behind a Denny’s at 3 AM. Why is this the Final ? According to the credits, the dev is “tired” and “out of degenerate ideas.” The story mode is nonsense—something about a multiverse collapsing because two waifus did a fusion dance incorrectly. Super Slut Z Tournament 2 -Final- is a labor of shitposting love. It isn't trying to be Street Fighter 6 ; it’s trying to be the game you played in computer lab when the teacher wasn't looking. The balance is questionable, the netcode (if you can find a match) is held together with duct tape, but the sheer joy of landing a 100-hit combo using a “Rake” as a weapon is unmatched.
