അവൾ ആ കത്തി താഴെ വച്ചു. വിളക്കിന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് പേടയുമായി പോയി. തിരി ഉയർത്തി. തീജ്വാലയിൽ പേടയെ പിടിച്ചു. പേട ഉരുകാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മധുരം മുഴുവൻ അവളുടെ വിരലുകളിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകി. അവൾക്ക് വേദനിച്ചു. ചൂട് സഹിക്കാനാവാതെ കണ്ണുനീർ വന്നു. പക്ഷേ അവൾ പിടിച്ചു.
