A cartoon glove (Classic 1930s style, but with too many fingers) stamps the logo onto a wooden crate: .

The screen cuts to black.

The host pulls a plug from a glass box containing a beating human heart.

A thousand children singing “You Are My Sun” in reverse.

“THE BETA FATHERS ARE NOT BROKEN. THEY ARE COMPLETE. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN SLEEP. DO NOT LET THEM DREAM. THE FATHER IS INSIDE.” Text appears, typed in real-time: “Beta units lack

The bedroom wallpaper peels away to reveal a pulsating muscle wall. The gurney-bed folds into a fetal position and sinks into the floor.

One of them twitches. Its head rotates 180 degrees.

“I am not hungry, Father. I am lonely.” The child becomes the Father

The Beta-Father’s smile from Scene 2. It floats in the blackness. The teeth (piano keys) press down. A deep, bass note plays.

The Beta-Father is now sitting where the child was. Its belly is distended. Something is knocking from the inside.

The egg-head cracks open. Inside is not a brain. Inside is a single, blinking human eye. It looks directly at the camera. It is crying.

“But we forgot one thing. Love is not a variable. Love is a glitch.” SCENE 2: THE BEDROOM – CHILD UNIT #734 Visual: A child’s bedroom. The wallpaper has eyes that blink slowly. The bed is a gurney. A small, silhouette child (Unit #734) sits upright. Staring.

The Beta-Father’s smile widens horizontally until it splits its cheeks. From the split, instead of blood, old 8-bit text scrolls out: ERROR: HUNGER_VARIABLE_NOT_FOUND .
