You’re thrown into a generic-but-serviceable medieval fantasy empire, playing a character rising from obscurity to (presumably) influence political and military affairs. The writing tries to balance serious court intrigue with the expected adult content. The lore hints are interesting—there’s a half-baked magic system and a rebellion subplot that shows promise.
