The room smells of stale chai and regret. RAYYAN (28, dishevelled, wearing a faded university hoodie) stares at a half-eaten plate of biryani. He hasn't blinked in thirty seconds.
JINNIE (V.O.) (Softly, as if crying without tears) I know. I can smell it.
JINNIE (V.O.) The cooking channel. The lady with the karahi. I died before they invented garlic paste in a tube. This is magic to me.
JINNIE (V.O.) (Whispering, right next to his ear) You’re going to eat that third piece of chicken and then cry about it in the shower. Save us both the tragedy.
