A species that had tried to erase the Second World War. Then the First. Then the Bronze Age Collapse. Then the evolution of predation. Each edit made the universe younger, simpler, emptier. "Rubbish," he whispered. Information cannot survive the Big Bounce. It’s thermodynamically annihilated. He had published three papers proving it.
