Empires: Dawn of the Modern World (2003) was a unique hybrid of Rise of Nations and Empire Earth , spanning from the Dark Ages to WWII. A sequel or expansion feature set would need to bridge the gap between its WWII endpoint and a hypothetical "Dawn of the Modern World" sequel.
