Transmitter Configuration

First of all the basic procedure. Below you will find examples of the most common connection variants.

The control input monitor window displays the raw control signal data. Up to 20 channels are possible depending on your dongle or adapter. Each function (collective pitch, rudder, aileron and elevator) should move a slider. If not, please follow the instructions below.

| Item | Description | |------|-------------| | Model | Denyo AVR NTA‑5A‑2DB | | Type | Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) for diesel generators | | Primary Use | Maintains stable output voltage (±5 % tolerance) under varying load conditions | | Power Rating | 5 kVA (5 kW) – suitable for small‑to‑medium commercial or industrial generators | | Input Voltage | 380 V ± 10 % (three‑phase) | | Output Voltage | 220 V ± 5 % (three‑phase) | | Frequency | 50 Hz (± 1 %) | | Operating Temperature | –10 °C to +50 °C | | Protection Features | Over‑voltage, under‑voltage, over‑frequency, under‑frequency, short‑circuit, overload, thermal overload, loss‑of‑excitation |

Keep a maintenance log that includes date, operating hours, observations, and corrective actions. | Fault Code / Symptom | Likely Cause | Recommended Action | |----------------------|--------------|--------------------| | E1 – Over‑voltage | Input voltage too high, regulator malfunction, or sensor drift. | Verify generator voltage at the AVR input. If within spec, reset the AVR (power‑cycle). If fault persists, replace the voltage sensor or the AVR. | | E2 – Under‑voltage | Input voltage too low, fuel‑starvation, or loose input connections. | Check generator speed and fuel supply. Tighten input terminals. | | E3 – Over‑frequency | Engine speed exceeds 50 Hz set‑point. | Inspect governor and speed sensor. | | E4 – Under‑frequency | Engine speed too low. | Same as above – check governor, fuel pump. | | E5 – Over‑current / Overload | Load exceeds 5 kVA, or short circuit on output side. | Reduce load, inspect load busbars for faults, check protective devices. | | E6 – Thermal overload | Internal temperature > 85 °C (fan failure, blocked ventilation). | Clean ventilation, verify fan operation, replace fan if needed. | | No display / dead unit | Power supply (24 VDC) missing or dead battery. | Confirm 24 VDC present. Replace control‑power source or battery. | | Communication failure (RS‑485) | Wrong baud rate, missing termination, wiring error. | Verify settings on master device, add 120 Ω termination at the far end, re‑check wiring polarity. | | Intermittent voltage | Loose terminal, damaged cable, or aging voltage sensor. | Tighten all connections, replace suspect cables, consider sensor replacement. | denyo avr nta-5a-2db manual
