"Dangal" is a 2016 Indian biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a wrestler who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become international wrestling champions. The movie stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Duggal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra.

The film tells the story of Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Aamir Khan), a former wrestler who dreams of winning a gold medal for India in wrestling. When his wife (played by Sakshi Duggal) gives birth to a baby girl, Mahavir is disappointed but later convinces his wife to let him train their daughters, Geeta (played by Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita (played by Sanya Malhotra), in wrestling.
