1. Overview crDroid Recovery is a custom recovery environment designed to serve as the companion installation and maintenance utility for the crDroid Android distribution. While crDroid ROMs can often be installed using other popular recoveries like TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project), crDroid Recovery is built from the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code with minimal modifications, ensuring maximum compatibility, stability, and adherence to modern Android partitioning schemes (such as dynamic partitions and Virtual A/B slotning).
