Raghav turned up the volume. The screen flickered. Now Nina was staring directly into the lens. No — not at the camera. At him .

The download finished at 2:47 AM. The file was named "Black_Swan_Final_Uncut.mp4." Strange. The original film had no "uncut" version. But Raghav was too tired to care. He double-clicked.

"Perfect," whispered the Nina on screen. "You are my understudy now."

Raghav tried to stand. His legs wouldn't move. He looked down — his feet were fusing into black, webbed claws. Feathers pushed through his skin. The laptop screen expanded, swallowing the room. He heard his own voice, distant, calling out for help — but only the sound of static answered.
