This paper argues that while The Avengers initially appears to reinforce traditional masculinity through its action-oriented spectacle, a deeper analysis reveals the team’s collective dynamic, emotional vulnerability, and narrative structure as a deliberate deconstruction—and at times, a rejection—of hegemonic masculinity.
